Rossby vs. Victoria's Secret

The Law Offices of Peter Miller working in close association with Robert Cearley of the Cearley Law Firm brought a law suit against Victoria’s Secret alleging that their cotton nightgown was unreasonably dangerous. The tragic circumstances giving rise to the claim involved a woman whose cotton nightgown caught fire, engulfing her in flames and injuring her critically.

At trial, the plaintiffs sought to show the jury a videotaped demonstration performed under scientific scrutiny, illustrating the flammablity of the nightgown. The court refused to allow the jury to view the videotaped demonstration.
