Robert L. Scull

Robert L. Scull concentrates his practice in the areas of catastrophic personal injury, civil rights, medical and legal malpractice, products liability and commercial fire insurance claims.

Mr. Scull obtained his JD in 1987 after attending the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law.   From 1983-1985, Mr. Scull served as a probation officer and law clerk for Pulaski County Circuit Judge John Langston.  In 1986, Mr. Scull became a member of the Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and tried many cases while still in his second and third years of law school under the supervision of the Prosecuting Attorney.  Mr. Scull also served as a Legal Intake Officer for the Pulaski County Juvenile Justice Center.  This was at a time when the Arkansas Juvenile Justice System had been declared to be unconstitutional.  Mr. Scull was instrumental in correcting many of the defects and implementing the new procedures.  As a trial lawyer, Mr. Scull was a member of the legal team representing a former Governor of Arkansas during his criminal trial.

Mr. Scull has served as a Special Circuit Court Judge, Special District Court Judge and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts, Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, the United States Court of Appeals, St. Louis Missouri and all Circuit and District Courts of Arkansas.  Before joining the Law Offices of Peter Miller, Mr. Scull was actively engaged in solo practice, with a primary emphasis in the area of white-collar crime.

Mr. Scull is a member of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America , the Harold Flowers Law Society and is a faculty member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.  Mr. Scull has taught trial skills at several ATLA Colleges including the Essentials of Civil Litigation at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and Building a Personal Injury Practice and is an Advocate certified by the ATLA College of Advocacy.   Mr. Scull continues to lecture, teach and moderate at various Universities throughout the United States for ATLA as a nonprofit  faculty member.
